Humari Awaz (Our Voice) was Pakistan’s first mobile social network that facilitated information sharing via SMS across communities throughout the country.

Problem

In non internet-connected areas, it is difficult to access information, engage outside a small circle, and voice your opinion to the world.

Action

Launch a free SMS based social network to allow information sharing between people facilitated by OurVoice.

How it worked:

Contributors register a keyword on the network
Their friends text in that keyword to OurVoice
Each update sent by a contributor would be delivered to all followers.

Led product development efforts to launch and grow the social network.
